Design, Fabrication and Installation of 2 (two) units of bucket strainer at cooling tower pit circulation pump, suction line. Bucket strainers were installed to replace inline suction strainer, which had small filtration area, that leads to line switching and strainer cleaning every 2 to 3 days. By changing design to larger bucket strainer type, filtration increased by 200 times, which improved strainer cleaning activities to once every 1.5 months (reducing maintenance service cost).

Solved process work efficiency and safety by designing #400 mesh bucket strainer to efficiently separate powder and liquid chemical, without exposing operator's safety. Achieved reduction in required manpower to conduct the activity into half.
